More people can now try Sky’s television and broadband services before they sign on the dotted line. That’s because Sky has opened another dedicated retail store in Westfield Stratford, in east London. Shoppers at this mega-mall can drop-in and test out products like Sky Q with no commitment to buy.
The huge 1,420 square-foot shop will give interested shoppers the chance to speak Sky’s team of experts face-to-face and test some of the latest updates to Sky Q, like its recent addition of Disney+ and Peloton streaming services onto its set-top box.
The new Sky retail store is separated into a number of themed spaces to highlight different elements of its products. The design will also help with social distancing, Sky says.
There’s also a dedicated Customer Hub, which sounds like it has been heavily inspired by the Genius Bar found inside Apple Stores. This area will have its own seating that Sky says will “allow existing customers to speak to advisors about their current products and price plans.”
